Recalled equipment: what Nebraska requires

Nebraska does not require a recall check

We read Nebraska’s licensing rules in full. They contain no requirement for licensed providers to monitor or document product recalls. We are telling you this even though it means you have less reason to pay us, because a page that invents a rule to sell a subscription is worth nothing to you and would deserve nothing from you.

What the rules do say

We read every chapter plus the governing statutes: zero hits for recall, CPSC, banned or defective. Nebraska’s crib rule says only that cribs must be “federally approved” and never names the CPSC. The official inspection checklist has no recall item either. The old 474 NAC numbering is dead.

Recalled children’s gear is still dangerous, and a recalled crib in your care is still a liability whether or not a form asks about it. The free screening below works regardless.

Title 391 NAC, chs. 1–5 (Children’s Services Licensing)

This page summarises publicly available licensing rules. It is not legal advice, and rules change. Always verify against your state’s current licensing authority.
